Well, they aren't kidding about their prices. Definitely the best in the area. I know some of the other guys have been around Redding for awhile but when it comes to my time and money, these guys were the best. I guess they are family owned and operated, and it shows. The staff at Blair's actually showed they cared and weren't just interested in my money. Death can be a difficult thing for some, and these guys understand that. Thank you all at Blair's. Thank you for opening up shop here in Redding.

They went above and beyond to help us with all of the arrangements. I almost felt as if they were part of our family and totally understood what we were feeling. And there were no hidden costs from what we were quoted which was very reasonable.

I found that Larry and his staff took really good care of us. They didn't try to sell us anything, especially stuff we didn't need, but helped us do exactly what we wanted to do. On top of that, they were the most inexpensive provider we could find in our area. When my son passed away, I wanted to honor him but I couldn't afford services that were elaborate. However, I was able to do exactly what I wanted and it didn't cost me my arm or leg. They are family owned and I could certainly tell, as they took care of me and my family.

I sadly lost both of my parents and sister within 2 years and having all arrangements made ahead of time with Blair's made the painful process so much easier. The staff is very caring and easy to deal with. They are very efficient and always available to answer questions during a difficult time.

My experience was nothing but respectful service

I have used Blair's now...twice. I have lost 2 of my children and they were easy to work with. I had questions. They were thoughtful and kind and very professional. They get the death certificates and you can also purchase memorial items if you wish. Even years afterwards they are there to help you. Im glad that I choose to go with them.

Losing a loved one is emotionally difficult whether or not your loved one dies in the hospital or at home. However, when your loved one passes away in the comfort of your home the responsibility of dealing with the initial post mortem also falls to the family. That is where Blair plays a significant role. They are only a phone call away day or night and their response time to arrival at my home was within two hours, giving everyone a chance to say their final good-by. They handled the care of the body with dignity and respect, and they were mindful and respectful toward family and friends. That was my first exposure to the Blair way of handling things and it was just the first step of my journey with them throughout the process of dealing with the remains of the body. All the employees were informative and helpful. I was given a list of important things to take care of and agencies to notify. They gave me confidence that my deceased loved one was in good hands, and I could trust them with the decisions to be made for his body. I don’t have pictures to post but I have memories that bring me comfort and joy with the help of Blair.

Blair's was nothing but a positive experience for me after just loosing my mother. They were affordable and compassionate and never tried talking me into to a sales pitch for other services. I called around because of being a paycheck to paycheck person and they were great in every way. I couldn't say the same thing about my experience with Allen and Dahls, which treated my mom like a ticket number or a cheap car salesman who started out really high on the price and conveniently dropped it to the same as Blair's and were not compassionate at all. Blair's is definitely a great service to out community and show great bedside manners and compassion. They are not here to rob you blind and treat your loved one like a meal ticket or a commission check unlike the woman at Allen and Dahls.

My sister and I were very happy with our experience at Blair’s. They were very helpful to us in making our decision’s at a difficult time in the loss of our mom. The staff were warm and friendly. Also we found their prices to be reasonable, which helped a lot. I would highly recommend them.

Good service and comfortable

I lost my mom May 11, 2024. It's hard to know who to turn to at this time of grieving. I asked our hospice team for recommendations and Blair's was one of several given. We were looking for a simple Cremation without frills. We selected Blair's Cremation and Burial. I was so glad we did. We worked with Michael. He was very respectful of our wishes. Did not try to sell us anymore than he knew we wanted. I appreciated this very much. We got everything arranged. He explained the whole process in detail. Answered all our questions without rushing us. His timeliness given for the whole process were almost to the day. Also very helpful. Michael made a very sad time easy for my family. Much appreciated. I highly recommend Blair's Cremation and Burials.

The decency and care given to my mother at her passing was kind. She was given respect and a personal touch when leaving her home. A beautiful blue cover was placed over mom to travel to Blair's for their services. I don't know how else to say it because I was in shock. The team at Blairs from the phone call, to the removal specialist, to signing of papers and final disposition were a class act. Blair's made the things a daughter never wants to have to handle effortless. The understanding I received when I had some questions was pretty cool too. This was my first experience handling a deceased parent and Blair's was there for my mother and I. I'd give more than 5 stars if I was able to.

Amazing place to do business with. After the recent death of my dad, the funeral home whom we pre-arranged services refused to honor my dad's wishes of being cremated. So thankful we found Blaire's as they listened to us and we recieved what my Dad wished for. The other business just wanted the 11 thousand dollars in pre arranged services and did not care what my Dad or our family wanted at the time of need. My mother was in hospice care for about a month, and when she passed, Blair was there very soon after to pick up her body. They stayed in constant contact with me and were always very pleasant and thorough...I would highly recommend them.

I was given a paper with lots of names of different Burial services I had no idea who to choose so I like the name Blair's so that is the place I choose for my husband's Cremation & burial Service My husband Mike had Covid Pnomnia he was in the hospital for 42 days when I had to make the choice to take him off the ventilator I had him sent to Blair's 11/24/2021 When I went in to talk to them about the cremation they were very friendly & helpful about everything They made sure I had everything I needed for this to go very smoothly We live in Burney and our McDonald's Chappel closed down, so I feel like I received all the help & love I could have had If you need this service please don't hesitate to use Blair's Kathy

My husband passed 10/22/2021. I originally had him transferred to a different facility but my sister-in-law referred me to Blair's. They took care of transferring him to their facility. I had an appointment with Nia and she took care of everything. Considering how tough this time is, they made it very easy, and quick. I would recommend Blair's to anyone.

Our son passed in an accident in California this summer, during the time of Covid-19. We live on the East Coast and were not able to travel, due to having a compromised immune system. We had my son cremated at the Redding location. Blair, from the Red Bluff business was most helpful in answering questions and working with our timing needs. We changed dates and even visitation times and the folks at the Redding location were always accommodating (even staying late) I am from out-of-town and so grateful I picked this business. They were really great at a time of sincere need.
